My Favorite Drugstore Products

We live way out in the boon docks, where when were first moved here there was nothing but a gas station that marked everything up 50%.  So, if you needed some milk and didn’t feel like going “into town,” you had to pay a pretty penny for it.  But, now, I am so excited that they are finally building some stores around us.  Just recently, we got a CVS right across the street from the gas station.  It is so convenient and nice to have when we don’t want to go into town.  And, the prices are reasonable.

When I do go to the drugstore, there are some products that I swear by, and I thought I would share them with you.

My lips are very sensitive and dry out easily.  I have found that Maybelline’s Baby Lips gives me color without drying me out.  The title picture shows their new 12-hour hydration formula.IMG_9787

You know from myLuxe Lashes post, I swear by Chanel’s mascara.  But, I like to keep a makeup bag handy at school for touch ups, and I don’t want to spend too much.  Or, if I can’t get to a Chanel counter soon, I will pick this up.  It is Maybelline’s the Colossal Volume Express mascara .  I really like it!IMG_9794.JPGIMG_9795.JPG

I wear this  Neutrogena healthy skin 3-in-1 concealer for eyes  faithfully everyday.  I love the fact that it has SPF plus fights puffiness and dark circles.  It comes in several shades, too. I wear light.

I love this .  It has retinol and improves the overall eye, puffiness, dark circles, wrinkles, etc.IMG_9808IMG_9809

I really like this ROC Retinol Correction Deep Wrinkle Night Cream.  It improves my crow’s feet and frown lines.IMG_9804.JPGIMG_9805.JPG

I really have found success in this Oil of Olay Depuffing Eye Roller, especially after refrigerating it overnight.  I just roll over under eye area around 30 times for each eye.IMG_9810.JPGIMG_9811.JPG

I like to wear this Neutrogena Face Shield oil free lotion sunscreen at the beach.  It really stands the test of water, sweat and bright sunlightIMG_9801

As for self-tanners, I have found Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun dries quickly and is streak-free.  Make sure to wash your hands quickly after applying.  I only use one pump per leg and one pump per arms.  I use Light Bronze color.

In between my gel nail manicures, I like to give my nails a break and use regular polish.  I like this Sally Hensen’s Miracle Gel nail color.  It lasts longer and you don’t need to apply bottom or top coats.IMG_9799.JPG

When I do use nail polish, I like Essie.  I always use their green First Base Base Coat on the bottom and then Gel-Like for a top coat.

For root touch-ups when it is getting close to my hair appointment, I like L’oreal Root Cover Up.  I use Dark Blonde.IMG_9818.JPGIMG_9821.JPG

To volumize, I lift sections of my hair and spray this Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus at my roots on damp hair.  It lifts and protects from humidity.IMG_9828.JPG

For a dry shampoo alternative, I sprinkle Johnson’s Baby Powder on my dirty hair roots and rub in.  It works the same as the expensive dry shampoos out there.IMG_9817.JPG

To treat split ends and dry hair, I like to use V05 Hot Oil Therapy once a week.

I have found that Colgate’s Optic White Platinum keeps my teeth super white and tastes amazing!

Sometimes in the Sunday paper, they will have coupons for these products, and I will go and stock up!

What are some of your favorite drugstore products?  Please share!

Stay beautiful!
