A Day to Night Outfit

IMG_1543.JPGWe live way on the outskirts of town, and when we go to town, we try to get all errands done!  Going back and forth is a pain.  And especially during the holidays, when traffic is horrific, I try to plan my “town time” very strategically!

If I know I have an event after work, I try to dress with a transitional day-to-night outfit in mind.  I do not want to go all the way back home to change just to
hit the traffic again. So, I will pack a few items to change into at work, and go from there.

Here I started with a fun black, strap-neck top with balloon sleeves, a ruffled, red skirt, and mules.  I love these mules.  I bought them on a recent trip to Dallas and have basically lived in them!IMG_1523.JPGIMG_1524.JPGIMG_1525.JPGIMG_1526.JPGIMG_1529.JPGIMG_1530.JPGIMG_1533.JPGIMG_1534.JPGIMG_1535.JPGIMG_1536.JPG

I transitioned to a dressier clutch and earrings, a black fur jacket (which is a fall trend), and black booties with fish-net socks (which are also a fall trend)!  I put my hair up into a messy bun and was ready to roll!IMG_1540.JPGIMG_1541.JPGIMG_1543.JPGIMG_1545.JPGIMG_1546.JPGIMG_1547.JPGIMG_1549.JPGIMG_1550.JPGfullsizeoutput_1835.jpeg

How do you transition from day to night?  Especially during the holidays???  I would love to hear!
