Fall Fun in Dallas

On Fall Break, R and I headed to Dallas to spend some time with the kids and do some fall fun.

When we first got into town, we headed to the Dallas Arboretum to see the pumpkin displays and have a picnic. I had heard about the 90,000+ pumpkins they display every fall.  I wanted to see what all this excitement was about.  It was so beautiful!IMG_1350.JPGIMG_1353.JPGIMG_1355.JPGIMG_1356.JPGIMG_1358.JPGIMG_1362.JPGIMG_1363.JPGIMG_1374.JPG

LSU was playing Auburn at 2:30, and per Erin’s recommendation, we headed to Dodie’s on Lower Greenville to view it.  I didn’t realize how many crazy, Texas Tiger fans there were.IMG_1395.JPGIMG_1393.JPGIMG_1398.JPGIMG_1400.JPGIMG_1399.JPG

We sat on their patio and watched the Tigers beat Auburn!

We then headed to Hayley’s apartment to see her updates.  Her apartment is so cute.  I can’t wait to share the updates with you soon!

We then headed to North Henderson for dinner at Victor Tango’s.IMG_1409.JPG

I highly recommend the ahi tuna tacos.  Yum!IMG_1420.JPG

After dinner, we went across the street for an after-dinner drink at Bar Stellar.  It was very cute with crazy, craft cocktails.  They had a fun photo booth where the pic is sent straight to your phone.  I had a cotton candy drink shown below…IMG_1421.JPGIMG_1422.JPGIMG_1426.JPGIMG_1427.JPGIMG_1429.JPGThat’s Erin deep in thought…maybe wondering if Alabama is going to win or not?IMG_1436.JPGIMG_1438.JPGIMG_1445.JPG  Almost too pretty to drink.

The next morning we headed to Uptown for brunch at St. Ann’s.  It had great ambience, live music, and an outdoor area.  It also had a samurai museum upstairs.IMG_1457.JPGIMG_1475.JPGIMG_1469.JPGIMG_1470.JPGIMG_1467.JPG

Hayley loved this outdoor area! IMG_1461.JPGIMG_1462.JPG

I ordered the pork tacos….very good and a lot of food!

After brunch, Hayley and I headed to Northpark for some girl time, while the guys watched football.  Northpark was decked out for fall, too!IMG_1476.JPGIMG_1478.JPGIMG_1517.JPGIMG_1521.JPG

Can’t wait to come back to Dallas.  There is always so much to do! And, it got me all in the mood for fall!

Bye Big D!
