The holidays are here if you haven’t noticed. I don’t know about you but I like to buy pieces that I can wear with other pieces to dress up or down. Lately, I feel like I am a spokesperson for “A New Day,” but I have latched on to their line like I did with ” Who What Wear” with Target.
I have a few parties that I have been invited to, some dressy, and some casual. I bought this blouse with that in mind. It is by “A New Day” by Target. I love the ruffle details and gold-like buttons.
I actually wore this blouse the day of shooting this with jeans and booties for a brunch gathering in Dallas. I felt dressy casual, but classy trendy, too.
So, I thought, for a dressier look, let’s add some sequins, glitz and heels for a dressier look.
I ordered this sequined skirt a few years ago from j. crew and have used it every year since. I feel it is a holiday staple for your closet and mine. Even though they no longer carry it, I have found very similar styles below.
For shoe options, you could definitely wear heels of pretty much any color, which would look so good. But, I love taking advantage of the “haven’t-had-a-pedicure-lately-let’s-wear-some-booties” look! I have also owned this high-heeled, suede, wedge booties for awhile now, and I feel are also a great closet staple. I have included similar looks below.
I wanted a fun sparkly clutch, so I included this one that I ordered a while back, also from “A New Day.”
The earrings are Sugarfix for Baublebar from Target.
The lipstick is little more dramatic for the holidays…..MAC Viva Glam III A76.
What are some of your holiday outfits? I would love for you to share!
