It’s been our family tradition to go to our church, Holy Trinity, at 3:30 on Christmas Eve to sing Christmas carols then mass at 4:15. Our church is gorgeous, especially at Christmas time. It was built in 1856 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Many, many weddings, catholic and non-catholic are held there.
We sometimes go out to eat and then go look at Christmas lights afterward. This year we are coming home and having gumbo, salad, potato salad, French bread and Croissant Bread Pudding with White Chocolate Sauce.
We will probably play some games and/or watch movies.
For Christmas Day, we are repeating what we did last year and are staying in our jammies all day. I am serving a huge brunch of shrimp and grits, ham and biscuits, veggie frittata, brioche French toast casserole, praline bacon, and fruit tray. We will have a Bloody Mary and mimosa station, along with coffee and juice.
We will be just plain la-zee! Momma needs this!
I picked this up the other day at Target. It is another one of my favorite lines WhoWhatWear, which is all 20% off now. I love the real-leather feel and the lace accent in the slit.
I paired with a staple black turtleneck and fur scarf. I added gold and black pom-pom earrings, red patent peep-toe heels and a leopard clutch.
The ducks photobombed the post, thinking I had bread.
What are your Christmas Eve plans? Christmas Day?
