I am a HUGE fan of the La Mer skincare line, but it is soooo expensive. For winter, I would use a pot of this amazing stuff in a month. It got way out of hand.
I kept reading about face oils and decided to give them a try. I have liked not only the price but the results I am seeing. (I love this article about face oils here.)
I try to always use a vitamin C product in the morning to promote collagen production and protect from free-radicals. I also try to use a vitamin A product at night to reduce signs of aging. So, along with these two and an eye cream, I always use a moisturizer day and night.
So I ordered these three products to try. They were not cheap but are lasting much, much longer that the La Mer.
After washing my face at night, I roll this all over my face and neck. I gently massage in. After letting that set in a few minutes, I apply the Agent Nateur Holi Oil Youth Serum all over my face. A little goes a long way. I follow with an eye cream and let my beauty sleep do the rest!
For my morning routine, I wash my face and exfoliate using a multitude of products. I follow up by applying Drunk Elephant C-Firma Serum . I then apply the Holi-Oil, followed by eye cream and a cc cream for a broad spectrum uv protection and make-up base.
What is your winter skincare routine? Have your tried a face oil? If so, what do you think?
Stay beautiful!
Toodle-oo,
Melanie
