Happy March! I can’t believe it’s already here. It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the new year!
So for the March bar cart, I went with a St. Patrick’s theme. We really love this holiday in our family.
We named our son Erin, which means “Ireland” in Gaelic, for Pete’s sake. Rourke was named after his paternal grandmother’s maiden name, O’Rourke. His mother’s maiden name was Cronin, which is also Erin’s middle name. His parents are both from New York and their ancestors spent time at Ellis Island. They were also married at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
So, can you see the big deal?
I refrained from hitting the Target BB on this one. I invested in a few pieces that I think we will enjoy time and again.
Of course, I had to include the making’s for Irish coffee!!!!
And, I included a plant on the cart this time, too, for a change and little more green. One of my fondest St. Patrick’s Day memories is when Rourke’s dad would cook corned beef and cabbage every year on that special day and invite us over for dinner. I have never been able to master it like he could. Maybe this year I will try again for the gold!
Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? If so, how?
Luck of the Irish to ya!
