I have evolved with my beauty products since blogging. I have found through research that toxins can interfere with hormones as well as cause cancers and reproductive problems. I am slowly transitioning into a total non-toxic beauty regiment if you have not noticed already.
As far as shampoos go, I love my Kristin Ess products so much. But, as I am finishing the last of my latest bottle of shampoo and conditioner, I wanted to replace them with something non-toxic (no phalates, parabens or silicone).
Mom and I were recently shopping and popped into Sephora. I asked the consultant about any new shampoos that were non-toxic but were specifically for color-treated hair.
She showed me this new line. I need more volume, so I purchased the product you see here. I was concerned about the price with the bottle being so small, but you really only use an amount the size of a nickel.
I love the smell (think grapefruit) and how well it works with my thin hair. If you saw yesterday’s post, you can sort of see, short of getting hair extensions, how much body it provides. I also love the benefit of protecting my hair color, extending my trips to the hair salon.
This product promotes softness, encourages growth at the hair follicle and creates fuller-looking hair through ginseng and biotin. I really have seen a difference in the texture and volume of my hair.
(This line treats other hair maladies as well.)
