Here are a few things on my radar lately……
First of all, I CANNOT WAIT until Rhianna comes out with her, not one, but two new albums. No date announced. #patientlywaitinghere
Second, Rourke and I went to see this on my birthday. He was a little apprehensive, but ended up loving it. I did, too! It’s funny, clean and, like the book, over-the-top!!
Third, Rourke and I, new but behind everyone else to the Netflix craze, were scrolling through movies to watch recently. We stumbled upon this one. Both being a Daniel Craig (aka 007) fan, chose to watch this. It was really good!
My latest favorite podcast is Oprah’s Master Class. She chooses a famous person each week to tell in their own words about their lives, upbringings, trials and successes. Some of my favorites are Dwayne Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal. Some others include Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, and Reba McEntire.
Fourth, our new cooking favorites are this Ghost Pepper with Sea Salt. It is amazing on any kind of meat; but, I want to forewarn you, a little goes a loonnngg way! It is not for the faint of heart. I also add scant amounts to soups and sauces for a little kick.
And, this butter-infused olive oil. It’s a healthier alternative to add to popcorn, toast, scrambled eggs, or anything else you would normally put butter on.Fifth, Rachel, my BFF, always gives the best gifts. I think I’ve mentioned that several times before. I am loving everything she sent me on my birthday. These monogrammed palm shorts. (Similar here). This adorable clutch! (Sold out but other options here.)This tray, now housed on the marble coffee table. You’ll be seeing a lot of her!
And, this book. It is sweet and simple and a great gift to tell someone how special they are. I have it by my bedside.
And, her daughter gave me this (similar) purse pom-pom with phone charger! Loving this!!!!
And, lastly, I am loving my new cork yoga mat. I sweat profusely, and this yoga mat has been a game-changer. I don’t slip and slide, even in hot Bikram yoga. I love it!!
I haven’t had a minute to spare to read a good book lately and am desperately yearning to. Any good book recommendations???
