It took me a lot of guts to put my bare face out there, but I just had to show you the total transformation.
Recently, Hayley and I popped into our local Chanel counter to take back a broken lip pencil and ended up buying more than we intended to. One of the purchases was this beautiful limited holiday eye palette.
I just had to let Hayley do her “thang” with it. And, boy did she!!
Using all of my new products and a few of her own favorites, she made me beautiful. I intend her replicate this look for NYE.
Here’s what she did:Starting with eyes first, she made me have eyebrows!!She then applied the eye primer, concealer and powder.
Using the light brown color above, she ran it through the crease and up toward the eyebrow.
Taking the maroon color, she applied to the outer corners of the lid. She wiped away excess with a makeup wipe.
Lastly for the shadows, she swiped the inner lid with the gold and pink shades.
She then applied a thin, liquid liner to the top lid just above lashes. She applied the Chanel lash base and mascara in noir.Next, she applied liquid bronzer all over face. She blended with a blending sponge. She then applied liquid foundation all over the face, also blending with a blending sponge. She applied concealer and blended well. She took loose powder and pressed into concealer and let it “bake” or sit for a few minutes before brushing lightly off.Using a contouring stick, she drew lines under cheekbones and up temple to side of forehead. She blended well. She applied cream blush stick to apples of cheeks and blended in.She applied highlighter to face around tops of cheekbones, tip of nose and on brow bone using the shade I am pointing to in pic below. (This is no longer available, but linked a similar highlighter below.)
She finished the eyes by applying the first light brown shade she used along the bottom lash line, followed by mascara on the bottom lashes. Finally, she applied lipliner, lipstick and gloss. She sprayed with a setting spray and TA DA!!Wow!While she applied makeup, I was letting my wet hair dry a bit with hair products before blow drying.
