Low-Key Utility Outfit

IMG_2988.JPG

Ahhh Spring!  It officially arrives on the calendar this week!  And, so far, the sun has been out for at least three solid days straight here now.  It has not necessarily been warm, but none-the-less sunny!

Looking at all the spring trends, I chose this low-key utility look. My look is not to the extreme like here and here but is scaled down to fit my comfort zone.  That’s the cool thing about trends that I have found, you don’t necessarily have to follow every single one.  Just find the one you like and are comfortable wearing, and then you can find the style of the trend that fits your own at your price range.

I have paired this neutral dress with a belt bag (utilitarian) over my shoulder and some Teva-style sandals (also not to the extreme like here and here).  I added some shield-style sunglasses and some gold accessories.

I am not going to lie to you, this outfit is pure COMFORT!! Plus, I can wear it pretty much anywhere….work, church, lunch, shopping!
