Yep! That’s Erin and Hayley at Erin’s grad school graduation. It seems like just yesterday…
Speaking of graduation, my mom had a request a while back for me to do a post on graduation gifts. With May just around the corner, graduation time is going to sneak up on us. So, I thought I would give you a few ideas…..
It is hard to find that special gift for each individual graduate. Where mou-lah is probably every grad’s favorite, it is always nice to give them something they wouldn’t normally buy for themselves.
I know that most football stadiums are going to the clear handbag requirement. What better than to get the female grad, but a custom clear bag.
I love this one from Gigi New York. It’s on the pricey side but it is designer. It has an adjustable strap plus you can add a tassel with your recipient’s college colors. And, with any Gigi bag, it can be personalized!! It would be something they could definitely get at least four years of wear.
As far as the guy grad, an embroidered two-fold wallet from their college of choice would be a special present, especially if you added some greenbacks inside.;)
A lightweight cooler from the graduate’s school of choice is a great gift that you could fill with other goodies!
For any grad, a personalized, leather Bible is always a nice gift.
This one comes in five colors.
Along those lines, a good daily devotion to keep your grad on track is always a unique gift to add to the Bible.
The One Year Alive is great for any high school or college student in our social media world.
At First Glance focuses on any student’s first semester of college.
Fearless Faith delves into coping with common fears and anxieties associated with starting college life.
Let’s talk organization:
These Mead academic year planners are customizable and come in 5 patterns and two sizes, large and small.
And, this Panda Planner is a quarterly, non-dated planner with a daily, gratitude journal included. It is hard cover and comes in four solid colors.
These No Nails Paper Wall Organizers are great for any dorm room and are all on sale now.
This shelving unit would be a perfect space saver in any dorm room.
This personalized laundry sorter carries three loads of laundry with back pack straps.
This closet-slash-laundry organizer would add more storage to any apartment or dorm room closet.
A storage chest for all of those valuables with mesh organization and dual combination locks.
Now let’s venture into NECESSITIES:
How cute is this?? A Snack Box Dorm Survival Kit!
And this College Emergency Pack that comes with a first aid kit, high calorie bars, water pouches, batteries, a whistle and much more.
This little Fix-it Kit would be put to use by anyone, young or old.
This Student Bed Protection Kit that includes a mattress protector, pillow protector, and mattress encasement. It protects against bed bugs and dust mites.
Gift cards are great, too:
Of course, gift cards to pizza restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores are always going to be utilized sooner than later. You can put them on this little tree for a fun gift wrapping option that could later be used as a photo/note holder on a dorm desk.
