The Cookbook Club

fullsizeoutput_438b.jpegI am starting a new series on the blog called “The Cookbook Club.”  You know how people join book clubs?  Well, it is sort of based on the same premise.  But, with one of my favorite reads of all time, COOKBOOKS!

Want to know more?

Let me enlighten you.  I will pick an either monthly or bi-monthly (still working out the kinks) cookbook for our selection.  You can join me in cooking your way through it.  Whether it be through your Kindle app, library source or purchase from Amazon, we can try some recipes together.

All you have to do is either take a photo of your dish (or dishes, hopefully) after cooking a recipe from the monthly cookbook and post it under this post on Facebook.  And/or, take a photo and tag me in it on Instagram.

I will make a collage of all of our dishes and post them on social media with the next cookbook selection.

I hope you will join me in this little kitchen adventure.

This month’s selection is……..fullsizeoutput_438c.jpegOnce Upon A Chef by Jennifer Segal.

She went to culinary school and worked in several high-end restaurants before getting married and having children.  She started a blog (love her already) featuring her culinary skills in family-friendly recipes.

Her book has been given great reviews.  She gives lots of cooking tips and detailed, step-by-step pictorials. fullsizeoutput_438d.jpegfullsizeoutput_4391.jpegfullsizeoutput_4392.jpegfullsizeoutput_4390.jpegfullsizeoutput_4395.jpegfullsizeoutput_438f.jpegfullsizeoutput_4393.jpegWhat do you say?  Let’s do this!  It will be fun!

Toodle-oo,

Melanie
