Okay, I’ve got another round of “What I’m Loving Lately” for you, and I’m always giddy when I get to share some new finds with ya’ll!!
So, let’s start with beauty!Have you heard of these “Sun-kissed Booster Drops” by e.l.f.? You just add a few drops to your facial moisturizer or just apply directly to your face for an even self-tanned glow. I have found they work really well and don’t streak. I love them, especially, because I wear so much sunscreen on my face, I don’t usually match the rest of my body. These kind of “even me out.”
Speaking of e.l.f. products, I want this next for all those workouts!!! It’s a sweat proof/waterproof eyebrow/mascara combo. Great for the gym bag!I recently introduced ya’ll to this clean beauty nail brand. I tried their nail polish remover, and my nails and hands ended up moisturized and smelling like roses after taking off my polish.
Now let’s talk food!
I found these adorable “Boo Chips” at Whole Foods recently. How cute would these be to send for snack with your kids one day to school? Or to serve at your Halloween celebration?
I am loving this “Vanilla Bean Paste!” You replace it for vanilla extract. It has the great vanilla taste without that alcohol taste.
Let’s move on to movies!
If you haven’t seen Downton Abbey Movie, especially if you are a fan, GO! If you aren’t a fan, you will be watching the series shortly there afterwards.
How about some new books?
Rourke said that I was on a Holocaust kick there for a while with all of the WWII novels I was reading, but now you could say I am more on a medieval, Scottish-romance kick instead.
FYI….I have really been enjoying the local library again, since I was chastised for having a serious, purchasing relationship with Amazon. (Apparently, Amazon deliveries always waited to arrive right at the exact moment my husband came home from work. Busted!)
Just a good ole love story set in Scotland in the 1100’s, with some mystery mixed in, too.
More of the same above. Lots of lairds, battles and love.
I just got this one, but have yet to read. But, according to the reviews, I am probably going to get hooked, read the series and then binge on the t.v. series!
Two not about Scotland:
A moving novel set over four decades between two neighboring families, their problems, and much forgiveness.
A true story based on Ruth Reichl’s journey to becoming Gourmet magazine’s editor-in-chief. For foodies and food lovers, this beautiful novel comes with recipes, too!
A few more things…..
You know I love podcasts, but have you tried “Sleepcasts?”
A different way to prepare for sleep and unwind. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
And have you tried Ecosia, the search engine that uses its profits to plant trees? Plus, they don’t sell your information or data, and their servers work off of renewable energy sources.
So that sums it up!
What are you loving lately? Would love to hear!!
